Inside Dorchester. Though I do not subscribe to a particular theology, religious imagery plays a large part in my photography, the material architecture of belief. I am drawn to uncanny, liminal spaces. Places familiar and yet unnatural. I often try to emulate a sort of unnaturally-shadowed LED light in my photography. This sort of tone is present in several of my favourite films, as seen in parts of Celine and Julie Go Boating by Rivette. I find it quite haunting.
